Many of the paintings in this collection are inspired by observing the light, temperatures and sounds around me as I hike, run or travel....or travel vicariously through others as I work on commissioned paintings!

This collection ranges from wildlife captured in landscapes to more detailed "portraits" of wildlife and hunting dogs.

Although not a portrait artist, I do love to capture life being lived and the expressions of people and our non-human friends!

This body of works is an exploration of many materials and methods: from pencil to pastel; abstract to detailed drawings; paper to panel.  I am never at a loss for something to do and try in the studio!
